About us

Welcome to the
The Network Girl Tech Initiative

The Network Girl Tech Initiative Uganda is a registered community based women-led and operated organisation that champions the empowerment of girls and women across Uganda. We believe in creating opportunities for girls to thrive by equipping them with technological skills, sexual rights and health rights promotion, climate change adaptation and mitigation training, advocating for their rights, civic engagement and addressing the challenges they face, such as gender-based violence, early marriages, period poverty and lack of access to education

Join Us in Supporting Girls in Busoga with Reusable Pads!

Did you know that many girls in Busoga region in Uganda face significant challenges due to the lack of access to sanitary products? Every month, they use soil as pads to accommodate their periods, this means, they miss out on education and opportunities simply because they lack the resources to manage their menstrual hygiene.
But together, we can make a difference!
Why Reusable Pads?
Reusable pads offer a sustainable and cost-effective solution. They are eco-friendly, long-lasting, and empower girls to manage their periods with dignity and confidence.
How You Can Help:
We’re calling on compassionate individuals like you to join us in providing reusable pads to girls in Busoga. Your donation, no matter how small, can make a huge impact in their lives.

NB: Please note your donation goes through our parent founder The Network Company to reach us. Thank you so much.

Reusable Pads 4 Climate Fundraiser

Help a girl get a Reusable Pad Kit and get a tree planted

The Network Girl Tech Initiative Uganda is reaching out to poor communities and schools in Uganda to provide girls with reusable pads that are climate friendly, cheap and long lasting. We will teach the girls and their communities about, menstrual health and the taboos attached to it, the dangers of the plastics contained in the conventional pads as well as teaching them about how climate is changing and how they can be positive elements of climate action. We will plant trees in every community we go in. Donate today for a better climate.

“Climate change is a global challenge that does not respect national borders.”
