We use and throw away more plastic than our planet can handle hence creating a carbon foot print. The biggest percentage of plastics are not recycled and end up in water bodies which is killing marine life and contaminating the water we drink. In the next 20 years, the world will need to approximately spend $600 billion to fix our plastic waste crisis yet we can do something before we reach this.  We have taken it upon ourselves go around communities in Uganda teaching them about the dangers of plastics to their health and the climate. We don’t stop at this but also advocate online and reach out to the government for ban of plastics. We go also around cleaning the community and getting it rid of plastics and waste.
